DBMS (Database Management System) is a software that allows the user to define, create, manipulate, and database maintenance. DBMS software that so many kinds, for example: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Ms. Access. Data storage using the DBMSwould be more beneficial such as:
Performance obtained with large enough storage
Data integrity is guaranteed
Independence
Centralization
Securities
For example in the form of visual placement of the DBMS as below:

Database design
Where in the manufacturing process design data base to support operations and objectives of the company making it easier for companies to accelerate performanceand minimize time. The approach used in the design of the database are:
1. Bottom-up: the approach where all the attributes gained / needed grouped togetherin one table. This process is usually called a process of normalization.
2. Top-down: by beginning with the modeling data that contains an entity and therelationship that led to the determination of the appropriate attributes. This process isusually referred to as ER diagram.
Modeling Data / ANSI-SPARC Arch
Conceptual Database Design: The process of making the information model used inthe company, which is free from physical considerations
Logical Database Design: The process of making the information model used in thecompany based on specific data models, DBMS considerations and free fromphysical considerations
Physical Database Design: The process of making a description of the implementation of the database on secondary storage; explain the basic relationship, organization files, indexing for efficient access.
